A BIT ABOUT ME

I believe each of our life is a movie and the song we choose can play behind us as the background score

My Story

The Lala Girl

I lived most of my childhood in front of the Television. It kept me company, it was my best friend. I was mesmerized by the different lives I could be part of by simply watching these movies. Language was never a barrier for me. Remember the 1:30 pm Regional films! Yes, I watched that too. I have even watched award films. No, not films that received awards but films where one word was spoken after 20 odd minutes. I learnt there were commercial cinemas, middle-stream cinemas and award films and what not, way ahead in my life.

But before movies took over me it was music. I still remember the first song that made me get up and dance “Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re” composed by Bappi Lahiri. I had never danced before in my life but those beats got me up on the bed. Disco was my first genre but over time and my various jobs and people I have met in my life helped me get acquainted with different genres of music. Music has been something that gets me. Completely!

And as for me, I am emotional, erratic, loving, opinionated, brash, weird, logical, illogical. Sometimes I am in control and sometimes I am not. I often write and write about not just what I feel but what I see others go through as well.

I believe each of our life is a movie and the song we choose can play behind us as the background score. I wake up feeling a movie or being a song every day. Hence this space is me sharing about me and my Audio-Visual life. All you got to do is, take it with a Pinch of Drama!
