I welcome 2024 with arms wide open,
Again, from today I have fewer friends & fewer foes.
Some, I still like and some… I still don’t.
But zero hatred towards any I hold.
I'm dropping them off, at the curb of 2023.
Learning newer lessons and keeping my mind free.
Driving to new spots, feeling the breeze,
Freezing 'name-callings,' letting negativity cease.
Not just Goals but even people, I'll meticulously slot,
P1, P2, P3, defining my lot.
My focus is clear and sometimes it may be out of focus.
Took a long time to find myself and hence I refuse to be bogus.
I am me, and I am strong!
I understand my right could be your wrong.
But in the symphony of life, I'll sing my own song,
Embracing differences, resilient all along.
