SCATTERED LOVE

Usually when something breaks it makes a noise. I mean that is how you even turn around to see who broke it or did it hurt someone or was something that broke expensive or cheap and many such questions… The questions are countless, your mind races to figure out what happened especially if you know it could have happened to one of your near and dear ones. That is, when it happens at home. If this happens someplace else, like work or outside, you want to know the details just sheer out of curiosity.

Like I read in my son’s Hindi chapter “Apni jigyasa ko shaanth karne ke liye”.

But what if this same noise is silent. As in something does break into innumerable number of pieces but you don’t hear it. No one does. The silence was loud but only for the person who realises that something broke. And everyone around you is moving on because all have their own cross to bear.

But no matter what your emotion if you can submit yourself to music and know how to find the right music at the right time YOU SHALL BE SAVED. I love music and I make a lot of customised playlists. Because sometimes I believe people don’t know what to listen to, when to listen to and how. Even the song that follows one song has to be right.

MUSIC IS FREE THERAPY, take it.

The song that led me to create the entire list is this song.

When Amit Trivedi sets out to make a heart-breaking music with a tinge of hope hanging at the end of its tune, he does just that. I would personally love to understand the headspace Varun Grover was in while penning this song. Singers Shahid Mallya and Swanand Kirkire are literally the right combination for this soft-tearing your heart apart yet romantic song. I am literally glad they did not give this to Arjit. For the female voice Sireesha, definitely did her bit to the song. Again a breath of fresh sound than Shreya. (Watch Qala on #Netflix)

The way the song starts it takes you to ‘O Maajhi Re’ from the film 'Khushboo'

Lyricist – Gulzar

Music – RD Burman

Singer – Kishore Kumar

If we speak about the visuals it takes you to the song ‘Chingari Koi Bhadke’ from the film 'Amar Prem' picturised on Rajesh Khanna & Sharmila Tagore.

Video - Chingari Koi Bhadke https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptqkTdtt7nI

Lyricist – Anand Bakshi

Music – RD Burman

Singer – Kishore Kumar

All these three songs for its right and wrong and emotional reasons touches all the chords of one’s heart when you are in that particular mood. But I think even if you are not in that particular mood you can still feel the pain of the characters (if you’ve seen the film) or the pain perhaps the composer-writer-singer might have felt or depicted while composing-writing-recording the same.

Agar abhi aapko BIKHARNE ka SHAUQ hai then keep your 2 and half hours aside to listen to this.
